1. A pair of gold hoops, I’ve chosen EVERYDAY Twist Hoop Earrings because they’re waterproof making them perfect for round the pool whilst being bold enough to wear in the evening too.
2. Pastel Candy Hair Slides - the joy of warmer weather is being able to go easy on the heat styling, but a clip will instantly make things a little more finished.
3. Natural Vegan Nail Polish - various shades - I go for a colour pop on my toes but a neutral on my hands so if you get the odd chip, (let’s face it, inevitable) it’s much less obvious.
4. Necklaces - can’t beat a golden glow and some layered necklaces, I’ve picked the EVERYDAY Mother of Pearl Necklace as the stone catches the light so beautifully and it looks great with choker chains, or a longer heavier pendant.
We asked if any of you used Klarna, and the answer was an overwhelming 'yes' - so we've listened and added it as a payment option to the website.
For those of you who don't already know, Klarna offers payment options if you don't want to pay the full amount there and then - You can split the cost into 3 smaller payments, or just delay it for 30 days.
You'll now see the option to pay using Klarna at the checkout.

We thought the very least we could do was pull together a hamper to raffle off for £5 per ticket - but feel free to buy as many tickets as you like.
All proceeds will go directly to British Red Cross Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.
Prize is worth £325 including:
The raffle will run until 18th March 2022 - donations after this time will still support British Red Cross, but they won't be eligible to win the prize.

All items in this range are created for you to forget about, they're low maintenance and give you the maximum value for money. Here's why they're so great.
We were nominated for amongst some of our favourite independent stores including Berylune, Pencil Me In and Sanchos who went on to be very worthy category winners.
Holly & Co is the brainchild of Holly Tucker, one of the founder’s of Not on the High Street which is where our online story begin in 2014. I’m so grateful to marketplaces like those for helping us in those early days, back then having our own Bricks and Mortar store felt like a pipe dream, I would never have believed that 6 years on we’d be where we are.
What made it even more special is that each of the shortlisted businesses were voted for by you, we’re well aware that we’d be nothing without our customers - both those who visit us in store and those who support from afar.
I’ve never much been one for awards, I’ve never applied for any (quite probable fear of failure) and I’ve always valued feedback from real customers and jewellery lovers over a judging panel of experts. That said, this one gave us an excuse to stop, sit back and admire what we’ve achieved.
We just wanted to say another thank you for your continued support, and for letting us end a challenging year on a high.
]]>Hi Friends,
We get a fair few messages every week asking if we have any advice for starting and running your own business, and whilst I'd love to answer each question individually, sadly there just aren't enough hours in the day.
Instead we decided that every few months we'd put out an open call on Instagram for your burning business questions, and we'd try and get through as many as possible.
This can be viewed as a highlight on our instagram profile, that way we can keep adding any new and seasonal answers.

Hi friends, this shopkeeper has a little request to make.
We've been selling online for 6 years now, and each year the big Christmas rush gets a little bit later. I completely understand why, we're all waiting for Black Friday bargains, and we've come to expect near instant delivery when we order online...
The only problem with this is, it makes it much harder to plan for, and with the demand concentrated into just a couple of weeks it's incredibly hard for small business with limited staff to cope with.
We've already been warned that Royal Mail and other couriers are anticipating delays this festive season. And if that's anything like the delays we experienced in lockdown, you could be waiting over 2 weeks for your order.
This is whilst we're also facing supplier issues and manufacturing delays due to Covid related staffing issues.
I don't like to be doom and gloom - I try to share the highlights of small business life with you, because sharing the gritty bits can sometimes sound like we're making excuses, and I try to keep things at least vaguely professional, but I also try to be honest, and I'm fairly sure I'm not the only one experiencing this dilemma.
Whilst we've been working very hard to build up a good stock of jewellery for Christmas, inevitably (because it happens every year) something will sell out, and I can't be sure we'll be able to restock it before the big day. So if you see something you like, maybe don't leave it too long?
I know you're already big supporters of shopping small - hopefully that's why you're here, and for that we salute you, but if you could help spread the demand a little this Christmas through October and November, you'd be making this (and many other) shopkeepers very happy during a challenging year.
Thanks for reading,
Penny x
