If you've made a purchase from us we want to make sure you get the most from it, so we recommend following the below guidelines in order to do so.
- Keep your jewellery away from liquids, particularly hairspray, sun cream or perfume.
- When you're not wearing your jewellery, make sure necklaces and bracelets are fastened to avoid tangles.
- Keep them in a cotton pouch or gift box when they weren't being worn - some metals will oxidise naturally so it's best to keep them protected.
- Remove your jewellery when showering, sleeping or exercising.
It's important to keep your jewellery clean too, many of our pieces are created on a hypoallergenic stainless steel base, which we use because it won't tarnish like other gold or silver plated metals.
(If you're not sure what your jewellery is made from, check the composition of your item on their product page - if it's not clear, please let us know and we'll update this immediately.)
Raw brass pieces will develop a patina over time which gives them a unique vintage charm and quality. If you'd prefer to keep them in their original state, they should be kept in an airtight container (we use small ziplock bags) and can be polished with a little brass cleaner when necessary.
